An Exciting Evening Out

What a friends and music filled day. It started pretty normal with teaching 2 classes followed with lunch at Agave with Micah. Then to a surprisingly informative faculty meeting. Then went home for a short nap. I then went to Alex’s graduate conducting recital. Other concert. And members were also there. After the recital, we all went to Deano’s. I ordered my usual which is a pizza with Louisiana smoked sausage. I then left them to meet up with my fellow faculty (Ben, Micah and his girl Heather, Pat and Kevin) at a dive bar, the Wild Salmon. I also saw a student of mine, Patrick who was in one of the bands was playing tonight. I also ran into Shannon (who I met 6 months ago and is the daughter of one of the concert band members). What a night!
