Oh Great! Another Hurricane.

So my 1st week of classes was great. I have the classes I wanted, including the 2 new classes I created this semester, the students seem fun, I have a good flow and then . . .

We have all been seeing the hurricane. After living in the south for almost 9 years, I am use to watching hurricanes during late August until late September. Before August, they tend to hit Florida or Mexico. So there was one predicted to hit Pensacola. So I thought we passed another one. Then the path started moving west. West? Then do not move west. Ya they do if there is a low pressure system to the left of the path. And that is exactly what happened. So now we have Hurricane Isaac (exciting and new) going northwest up from New Orleans and up Louisiana. It will hit where I live sometime after midnight.

Here is what it looks like now.

So great, I get to go through another hurricane that starts with an “I”. 1st was Ike and now Isaac.

What I want to know is why I seem to experience hurricanes at night? Rita, Humberto, Alex, Ike and now Isaac.

Let this one be as uneventful as possible.
