Living in the Acadiana part of Louisiana always has festivals but this festival is the biggest. The Festival International de Louisiane. (I asked someone who I use to know since she knew French, how do you say and spell Louisiana in French. She got irritated and said the same way as in English. Oh she was so wrong. Downtown streets close nights Wednesday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. There are like 5 stages with unique bands from all over the world. I am currently listening to an Israel-Moroccan band eating a crawfish enchilada and fried Alligator bits. Party!
