One of my former students Finus, from my Pro Tools class has started an independent movie company and asked me to join a few months ago. At one of the first meetings he told me that I was one of his inspirations. He now calls me Professor Awesome. He even has my class syllabus in his folder of notes.
So today he and others from the company have started filming at a bar in Lafayette called The Brass Room. It went well. We had between 10-15 extras plus the actors.
