We left Las Vegas and began our drive to the Grand Canyon. Through some the parts of the desert the temperature was 114 degrees. Now that is hot.
We arrived about 4 hours later to Williams, AZ and checked in at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel.
DD had set up a package deal which included this hotel, a train ride to the Grand Canyon, a bus tour of the rim of the canyon, a night at a hotel there, a train ride back to Williams and all the meals.
So after we ate, we took a walk around Williams. We walked down route 66. We took a picture under one of the signs. Then back to the hotel for sleep.
