Hotels, Fountains and Craps

Today was the hotel walk. Walked from the Excalibur to Caesars Palace. Checking out each hotel in between including some new hotels we have not seen like Aria. In side the hotel they had these tornatos in glass. Meet Billy Bob!

And we both finally saw the Bellagio fountains two times. One in the afternoon with “In the Mood” and one in the evening with “One” from A Chorus Line. They were cool to see. All the other times we had been to Vegas it was too windy and they do not show.

We then went downtown, watched the overhead show on Freemont Street and at the Italian restaurant, The Grotto, inside the Gold Nugget. The food was great. DD ordered a lagsana and I ordered a rigatoni with Italian sausage. Then watched a good cover band on the street playing Van Halen and other rock tunes.

We then went to one of the casinos that had a $3 minimum craps. (All the ones on the strip were $10. Don’t they realize that the economy sucks and they would get more people playing if it was lower like it use to). So the $3 crap table was filled and was fun. I started with $20 and ended with $80. Had to leave because it was getting real late and was getting tired.

A fun day in Vegas.
