I decided weeks ago that I would take my dad out to dinner but a day after Father’s Day to avoid all the crowds. So I took my dad to an expensive restaurant for a real steak dinner. According to my research, it was on many top 10 lists for the best steak in Long Beach. So we had a bowl of clam chowder, a 10 oz steak with mashed potatoes and a class of pinot noir. DD really liked the steak and really enjoyed himself.
We then when to an area of Long Beach where I always go when I come back home. It is an area I call the reef where you can see the Long Beach skyline.
And the Rainbow Bridge.
We then went to Hof’s Hut and has some pie. Now at Hof’s is it not a slice of pie It is a small personal pie. And really good.
