A Mill and a Cover Bridge

Patti took me for a picnic at Slippery Rock Creek.  Saw the covered bridge with the creek.

We then went in and took a tour through a Mill build before the 1900 and used only water to grind up wheat, rye, buckwheat corn and oats.

We then walked to a waterfall.

Then went back up to the car, got our picnic and sat at a table.   She made sandwiches and brought melon, grapes and water.   It was a great picnic with trees and great company.

Dinner was at Janet’s house with her husband.  She made meatloaf, pork and beans and green beans.  And some wine we grabbed on our way back from Falling Waters.  The wine is from a local winery.  We got a red and a blush.  Both were really good.  She also had some chocolate cake for dessert.  It was a fun evening.
