Went to Houston with Brent and Ramona to hear Tosca by Puccini.
I had not realized until today that I had seen this opera before performed in the same venue around the same time of year when I still lived in Galveston. I was invited by my friend Natalie to come up and see it. We had a little picnic and some wine.
After the drive to Houston, I took them to Oishi for dollar sushi. Or as I call it crack sushi. It was so good. Just like I remember it. They also really liked it. Brent even got some octopus. Tastes kind of like oysters.
Then to the outdoor Miller Theater. We has some wine and a pasta salad that Ramona had made. A nice evening for an outdoor opera. It was 80 degrees and no humidity. It was performed very well.
