We ate the Denny’s next to our hotel. Then off to see the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
And the view from on top.
We then ate at a Spanish Restaurant. I got a couple of tapas which were ok. DD’s sandwich was better. O well.
Then walked around St. Augustine which is the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement and port in the continental United States. What a nice looking downtown.
Has some really good ice cream and then heading to the next Lighthouse.
St. Johns River Lighthouse. It is located in a Navel Station so this is as close as I can get.
Then to the last lighthouse before heading west on the 10.
Amelia Island Lighthouse is surrounded by houses so getting a clear picture was not going to happen. But I think I did pretty good considering.
Now we are heading on the 10 to see how far west we can go before we get tired.
