We went to Houma Plantation. A huge house and a big garden area with fountains.
It was cool to see. We also ate at a restaurant on the plantation. We both had a Cajun pasta with shrimp. Quite good.
We then headed to my place. And the fun spontaneous trip was over.
DD stayed the night. On Sunday, he wanted to go to a Waffle House that we had seen many times on the trip. They are not in California so we went. Besides the food being good, there is always a floor show since the kitchen is right in front of the bar. No wall between. So it was fun.
Then took DD to the airport. DD was sick during the last part of the trip and bring in the same car for hours, I caught it. So I went home and slept for the rest of the day.
But it was an awesome trip!
