Today DD, Mom, Bonnie, AD, JK, my nephew and I went to the La Brea Tar Pits. AD and I have not been there since I was in Elementary School. It has expanded. More Pits. Definitely has that asphalt smell. We got to see a current excavation. In the museum, there was a lot of fossils on display that were excavated right outside in one of the pits. It was cool seeing the fossils and my nephew really liked it. We also saw a 3D movie about the ice age.
We then went to Buca di Beppo at the Farmers Market. It is an Italian Restaurant with a family style dinner. It was good. We then had homemade ice cream from a vendor in the Farmers Market. We then walked down to the fountain that would create a choreographed water dance. A fun day.
